Airline's pilots about effectiveness of iPad

Kharkiv Airlines became the first airline among CIS countries airlines, which was held the annual test period and comprehensive solution implements Electronic Flight Bag.

   Kharkiv Airlines became the first airline among CIS countries airlines, which was held the annual test period and comprehensive solution implements Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) based on the latest generation of Apple iPad, for aircraft company Boeing. On the eve of the anniversary of its first flight the airline received permission of State Aviation Administration of Ukraine to improve EFB to the 2nd class.

   EFB solution allowed to replace the printed documentation and ensure all pilots swift access to flight data. Kharkiv Airlines for the second year successfully cooperate with global aviation industry leaders such as Lufthansa Systems, Boeing and Jeppesen. Within the framework of long-term contracts between the companies they provides delivery of IT-solutions and navigation data to support operational processes cockpit.

   Experience in the use of applications Lufthansa Systems, Boeing and Jeppesen showed the world meet strict requirements for quality and speed of its information processing, flexibility and independence of the aircraft type.
