What baggage rate is allowed to carry?

A: Economy class passengers are allowed to carry one unit of checked baggage up to 23 kg and 1 piece of hand luggage weighing up to 7kg. Business class passengers are allowed to carry 2 pieces of checked baggage up to 23 kg and 1 piece of hand luggage weighing up to 10 kg each. What baggage rate for infants (under 2 years)?

A: For infants under 2 years baggage allowance include 1 piece of baggage unit weighing up to 10 kg and 1 baby stroller or carrying basket, regardless of class of service.

What items are prohibited to carry in hand luggage?

A: In order to ensure safety requirements for on all Kharkiv Airlins flights prohibited for transportation in hand luggage the following subjects:

toy weapons or replicas of weapons (plastic or metal);
petrol lighters;
manicure nail files;
slingshot;
cutlery;
knives with blades of any length;
knives for paper;
razor blades;
tools;
darts;
scissors;
syringes;
knitting needles for knitting;
racquet sports;
cues for billiards, snooker or pool.

The contents of this list is not exhaustive, but identifies a list of items that must be withdrawn from passengers or their luggage .

What can I do if my luggage didn't arrive to the destination airport?

A: In case you do not find your luggage on the transport belt at arrival airport, please refer to airport baggage service, which is responsible for its search. The process of tracing will be accelerated if you provide luggage tags. After completing the necessary documents you will be informed about terms and conditions of baggage delivery.

Whom can I contact in case my belongings were left aboard?

A: If your items have remained on board, you should contact Lost & Found department at the destination airport.

Further, please note that the personal effects during the flight should be under your control. Upon arrival at the destination airport make sure you have not forgotten something from your hand luggage on board.

What additional costs can arise for baggage check-in?

A: Before your travel, please ensure that your baggage (both hand luggage and check-in baggage) meets the transportation rates of Kharkiv Airlines. If baggage weight exceeds the airline baggage rules, you will need to pay the cost of transportation of excess baggage. More about excess baggage payment refer to Baggage Transportation.
